The following appears to be the only reported information relevant to hybridization in Family Gliridae. If you know of reported dormouse hybrids other than those listed here, please contact the website.
Eliomys melanurus [Asian Garden Dormouse]
× Eliomys quercinus [Garden Dormouse] ENHR(northern Africa). Primary hybrid zone is in Tunisia and adjacent parts of Libya and Algeria. Another zone occurs in southern Morocco. Here melanurus includes Niethammer’s lusitanicus. Corbet 1978 (p. 145) notes that these taxa are sometimes lumped due to “the intermediate character of some of the north African forms.” Niethammer 1959.
